Welcome, team!
Welcome aboard, guys! This is going to be a blast and we are going to rock this house with the STRENGTH of this ship. ♥
- All members of the team should join the community; once the rounds are underway I'm probably going to set the default for new posts to be member-locked, so we can talk about what we're planning without giving any of our ~secrets~ away.
- If you don't hang out on DW regularly, you can track this community and get emailed whenever somebody makes a new post: go to this page and check the box for "Someone posts a new entry" and also the box on the right to get notified by email.
- I am pretty good with words but you don't want to see me attempt pictures. If anybody more visually talented wants to make a usericon for the community (and/or team usericons for members!) or play with the community style to get us something that looks fancy, just speak up.
- Okay now say hi! Where do you hang out on the internet? What do you love about this ship? What else do you ship in Homestuck? Anything else you want to say?

I'm Raakel from Finland (say hello to time zone trickiness) and my fandom/Homestuck tumblr is raakelh, same as this DW. Tumblr is my Homestucking base...but I guess you could laugh at my older stuff in deviantArt. :D If anyone wants to add me in skype, it's raakelhoo.
I draw stuff, and comics especially are my passion. Naturally I'd love to be able draw something like a comic for HSO, but let's see how everything develops!
Soo...the whole Homestuck experience is basically around 60% "Oh my God Equius is so wonderful" to me, and my favorite ship is Equius/anyone. I ended up with Dirk<3Equius because...I found a couple others interested in it. :D I guess what I like the most about them is a)human/troll xeno possibilities and b)their colors together. Haha wow that doesn't sound awfully convincing? XD Still, I'm really looking forward to working with everyone on this!
...I had an idea for a HSO icon for myself, but I guess it could work as a team icon too? That is, combining the Hero of Heart symbol and Equius' arrow into the iconic arrow-through-heart symbol of love... Too plain? : D

also, all reasons for ship love are good reasons! And damn, those boys do look great together. ^^
